Arrowverse: Elseworlds Crossover Poster Contains a Batman Easter Egg

When The CW announced the title of December’s Arrowverse crossover event, the network also released an Elseworlds poster, which prominently features the Batwoman signal — but hers isn’t the only Bat-person symbol illuminating the dark city sky.

In the poster below, Wayne Tower can clearly be seen smack in the middle of the city skyline. Since Bruce Wayne/Batman and Wayne Enterprises have only really been mentioned in passing in the Arrowverse up until this point, it’s interesting to see the Wayne name occupying such a prominent spot in this poster.

Whether this is simply another wink from the Arrowverse team to DC fans or if it’s actually hinting that these Gotham residents will play a more prominent role in the series going forward is currently up in the air. Notably, in addition to Ruby Rose suiting up as Batwoman for the first time, Cassandra Jean Amell will also debut as Nora Fries, wife of Batman villain Mr. Freeze, during the Elseworlds event.

DCTV returns to The CW this fall with The Flash leading the charge on Tuesday, Oct. 9 with its Season 5 premiere at 8 pm ET/PT, followed by Season 2 of Black Lightning at 9 pm. Supergirl will follow the next week on Sunday, Oct. 14 at 8 pm, with Arrow the next day on Monday, Oct. 15 at 8 pm. Finally, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will return on Monday, Oct. 22 at 9 PM. The highly-anticipated crossover will air over three nights, starting on Sunday, Dec. 9 through Tuesday, Dec. 11.
