Chris Brown Arrested For An Outstanding Warrant After Concert

While performing on his nationwide tour, Chris Brown found himself behind bars in Florida for an outstanding warrant. The musician performed at West Balm's Coral Sky Amphitheatre, and it's believed that he was arrested shortly thereafter for potential felony charges. The singer was booked and released an hour later when posting a $2,000 bond. Here's what we know about Chris Brown's recent arrest in Florida earlier this week.

The warrant was from last year, but the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office declined to give any additional information regarding Chris Brown's recent Florida arrest, according to CNN. It's not yet known what the warrant was for, but it is believed to be in connection with a 2017 incident at a Tampa nightclub, where Brown allegedly attacked a photographer. It's also not clear if this arrest will be affecting his tour. He is next scheduled to perform at the Credit Union Amphitheatre at the FL State Fairgrounds tonight in Tampa, Florida at 7 P.M.

Chris Brown hasn't publicly responded to the arrest directly. The last thing he wrote on social media was a post from a few hours ago promoting his newest, upcoming show in Tampa, which suggests that the show should still be happening without any legal interference. It should also be noted that this new post seemingly references Chris Brown's arrest.

Chris Brown is no stranger to trouble. Perhaps most famously in 2009, the musician received physical assault charges after an incident with Rihanna, his girlfriend at the time. He was charged with felony assault, as well as making criminal threats during that incident. He received five years probation and community service. In 2013, Chris Brown and his bodyguard were charged with felony assault after an altercation occurred in Washington, D.C. outside of a hotel. It was yet another confrontation with a photographer, when two men tried to take a picture with him. He received a one-year jail sentence. Also in 2013, Chris Brown reportedly smashed his mother's car window during a family session and the musician was kicked out of rehab. He was ordered to attend another rehab program immediately thereafter by a judge.

Most recently, Chris Brown was sued for a sexual assault incident that reportedly occurred in his house. It was reportedly during a house party at the musician's residence. The musician also has a restraining order against another girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, with similar allegations of domestic violence.

Unless he gets in trouble again, Chris Brown is expected to continue with the remainder of his tour from here. Should we learn more about Chris Brown's arrest and legal troubles, you can be sure to read about it right here at CinemaBlend.
