New Classical Reviews

As the seasons changed in June, AllMusic's Classical reviews for the month contrast the old with the new. There were a number of releases by well-known, veteran musicians, such as Martha Argerich, Maurizio Pollini, Philippe Herreweghe, Neeme Järvi, and Jordi Savall. And then there are the newcomers, like pianist Yeol Eum Son, mezzo-soprano Anita Rachvelishvili, and violinist Tobias Feldmann; and those who have been making music for a few years, but are not yet household names, such as violist Helen Callus, conductor Darrell Ang, Baroque violinist and conductor Federico Guglielmo, and pianist Vadym Kholodenko.
