Director Shane Black’s The Predator is expanding upon the sci-fi action franchise’s mythos considerably with new forms of the eponymous alien hunter, including extraterrestrial hounds.

Funko has announced a new series of Pop! figures tying into this year’s The Predator, including limited-edition figures and exclusives. While providing a better look a the female fugitive Predator, both masked and unmasked, and genetically-enhanced ultimate Predator introduced in the film, the tie-in figures also includes three different versions of the previously unannounced return of Predator hounds.

Predator hounds, as the name suggests, are hunting companions of the interplanetary hunter and first seen on the big screen in 2010’s Predators where they were known as Hell-Hounds and used by the Super Predators to hunt down their prey. The redesigned monsters feature a sleeker look that removes the spikes seen on the creatures in the earlier film.

Also, interestingly, the ultimate Predator is referred to in the packaging as an Assassin Predator, seemingly confirming speculation that the new, more powerful hunter is sent to Earth to track down and kill its more traditional counterpart, presumably with the aid of the new hounds.

Directed by Shane Black from a script he wrote with Fred Dekker, The Predator stars Boyd Holbrook, Trevante Rhodes, Jacob Tremblay, Keegan-Michael Key, Olivia Munn, Sterling K. Brown, Alfie Allen, Jane Thomas, Augusto Aguilera, Jake Busey, and Yvonne Strahovski. The film arrives in theaters on September 14.
