During a recent concert at the Common Ground Music Festival in Lansing, Michigan, Halsey had an emotional moment. While performing a rendition of "Sorry," the "Him & I" singer needed to fight back the tears, as the lyrics hit close to home for the musician due to her break-up with rapper G-Eazy. It would seem that she's still reeling from the fractured relationship, as the musician wasn't able to hold back her emotions during the song. Take a look.
Surely it must've been difficult to belt out this tune, given everything that has happened in her recent love life. Still, Halsey clearly had the support of her vocal fanbase in the audience, as you can hear from the crowd in this phone-shot video, which likely inspired her to continue singing the heartfelt song to the best of her ability. During this most recent concert, those lyrics obviously struck a chord with Halsey, though she clearly powered through and put on one hell of a show. To recap a bit, G-Eazy and Halsey were together for roughly a year before they called it quits. Last week, she was reportedly seen with Machine Gun Kelly, which sparked some dating rumors between the two. There is apparently some history between the two musicians. That hasn't been confirmed by either party, though, and at the moment, it's only speculation and hearsay.
Based on this emotional concert video, it seems Halsey's still working some things out with G-Eazy at the moment. She's seems to be truly healing from the recent break-up. Hopefully, throughout her tour, she'll find the strength she'll need to mend her heart and find the strength to love again. The "Bad in Love" singer hasn't been shy about showcasing her emotions and tears, as made evident here as well as her songs. Thankfully, through it all, she's staying true to herself and finding the inner determination to carry through the pain she feels.
